A 3 hour Defibrillator training course designed to train people to use an AED in a cardiac arrest situation. An AED is a portable device used to deliver a shock which stops the heart fibrillating during cardiac arrest. Getting an AED to a casualty within 3 minutes of a cardiac arrest is essential for their survival.
Who is the course suitable for?
This course is suitable and recommended for all First Aiders, and anyone who would benefit from the knowledge and experience of using this lifesaving equipment.

Assessment and Certification
The assessment will be question and answer based, along with student practice and scenarios. Upon successful completion participants will be issued with a certificate valid for one year.
